About the role
Provide comprehensive nursing care, supervise LPN staff, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations within a wellness clinic setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to students within scope of practice and authorized by medical providers.
- Supervise and train LPN staff, ensuring adherence to regulations and standards.
- Manage student health needs, including immunizations and chronic care management.
- Conduct health record audits, participate in quality improvement, and develop SOPs.
- Coordinate healthcare services, monitor student health, and assist with staff evaluations.
- Prepare reports, manage injury records, and support staff training.
- Provide guidance and support for urgent medical situations, including after-hours calls and on-call duties.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.
- Experience working with youth preferred.
- Strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
