Registered Nurse Ambulatory Triage (RN) - Internal Medicine Care - Noblesville
About the role
Join the Noblesville Internal Medicine Care team as an Ambulatory Triage Registered Nurse. You will conduct phone triage, patient education, appointment scheduling, prior authorizations, prescription refills, referrals, care coordination, and other related tasks as needed. There may be an opportunity for this position to move to a hybrid schedule. The role is based onsite in the office located on the north side of Noblesville, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Perform phone triage for patients
- Provide patient education
- Schedule appointments
- Handle prior authorizations
- Process prescription refills
- Coordinate referrals
- Manage care coordination
- Complete other related tasks as needed
Requirements
- Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Three or more years of nursing experience
- Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred
- Phone triage experience a plus
- EPIC experience a plus
