Registered Nurse Ambulatory Triage - Family Medicine Care - Greenfield
About the role
The Ambulatory Triage Registered Nurse functions as a member of the Family Medicine Care team, conducting duties such as: phone triage, patient education, scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, prescription refill, referrals, care coordination and other related tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conducts phone triage
- Provides patient education
- Schedules appointments
- Handles prior authorizations
- Manages prescription refills
- Facilitates referrals
- Coordinates care
Requirements
- Graduate of NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited nursing program
- Licensed RN with active Indiana license in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Three years of relevant nursing experience
- Previous medical office/outpatient experience preferred
- Phone triage experience a plus
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Accountable and self-directed
- Prior experience with Epic a plus
Qualifications
- Resides in the Indianapolis area or surrounding counties
- Remote work from home after training
