About the role
Provides comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient surgery center, covering preoperative, PACU, and stepdown areas.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Involve patients in care planning and education
- Monitor patient responses and make clinical decisions
- Administer medications and treatments per policy
- Document care accurately
- Ensure a safe environment
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- No prior experience required
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid RN license in the applicable state
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and observation skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive movements
- Proficient in vision, hearing, and smell
Schedule
Full-time, day shift. No weekends, nights, holidays, or call shifts required.
