About the Role
The Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse (“RN”) will join our Surgery Center, working alongside physicians in a renowned, multi-subspecialty eye care group. You will provide exemplary patient care while treating cataracts, glaucoma, corneal diseases, and performing laser vision correction surgeries. This role requires strong clinical judgment in Pre-Op/Post-Op care, adherence to policies and procedures, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced PACU and OR environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall management and leadership of the Surgical Center.
- Provide outstanding daily patient care.
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers on sedation and closely monitor patients.
- Prepare patients for surgery and manage recovery and discharge procedures.
- Exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills in a high-paced environment.
