Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Neurosurgery - RN

About the role

Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures in an ambulatory setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patient conditions before, during, and after surgery
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to explain procedures and treatments
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and develop care plans
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota
• Experience in acute care settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of neurosurgical procedures and patient care
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems
