About the role
Atlantic Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients in an ambulatory setting.
Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Utilizes the nursing process effectively to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Demonstrates competent clinical skills and coordinates patient assessments and teaching.
- Manages the in-basket, assists with pharmacy contacts, reviews labs, and responds to patient messages.
- Facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration and interacts with patients and team members.
- Maintains a safe environment and reports incidents using the event reporting system.
- Documents accurately and maintains patient confidentiality.
- Participates in practice huddles and collaborates with team members to address patient care and conflict resolution.
- Utilizes standard precautions and maintains competency in information systems.
- Pursues learning opportunities and reports changes in patient conditions promptly.
- Maintains documentation accuracy and complies with patient safety goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED; graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- At least 2 years’ clinical practice, ambulatory practice preferred.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) credential required.
- RN license, valid in the State of N.J., required.
