Registered Nurse, Ambulatory Clinic

About the Role

Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, scope of practice, along with recognized professional standards and employer-specific protocols and policy. Supports multiple areas within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights. Resolves concerns or complaints regarding patient care or service.

This role combines triage and direct patient care to support the care team, address gaps between visits, and improve patient outcomes. The RN will work at the top of their license, using strong clinical judgment to provide timely, patient-centered care while helping reduce the overall cost of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage for patient calls, messages, and walk-in needs
• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, injections, immunizations, and clinical support
• Identify and address care gaps between visits
• Collaborate closely with providers and clinic team members
• Provide culturally responsive patient education and follow-up
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record

Requirements

• Maintain a current Minnesota registered nurse’s licensure (WI licensure required where applicable)
• Current BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines (no online-only courses accepted)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Ambulatory Nursing Experience
• 1 year of prior experience in nursing

• Monday: 7:00am–5:00pm
• Tuesday: 7:00am–5:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:00am–5:00pm
• Thursday: OFF
• Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm
