Registered Nurse- Ambulatory Cardiovascular Medicine (Full-time)- Days – Wyandotte

General Summary

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac nursing experience required in a cardiac-focused setting such as a telemetry unit, cardiac step-down unit, cardiac ICU, or other cardiovascular specialty area.
• Prior experience in an ambulatory/outpatient setting is preferred.

Education/Experience

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.

Certifications/Licensures

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy.
