Registered Nurse - Advanced Acute Care Telemetry Unit

About the role

Inpatient Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a clinical setting, primarily on a cardiac unit. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in accordance with standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies while addressing patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Conduct assessments, develop and coordinate care plans, including patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Evaluate nursing interventions, revise care plans based on patient responses, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Delegate tasks, promote teamwork, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Support quality and safety programs, actively engage in unit and organizational goals, and uphold safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a specialty nursing training program, with a strong interest in cardiac care preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively, problem-solve, and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Experience in cardiac nursing is advantageous but not mandatory.
