Registered Nurse - Advanced Acute Care Medical and Oncology Unit

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, including assessments, treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures in accordance with state nursing standards. Key Responsibilities: Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized care plans, ensuring patient and family education, discharge planning, and holistic support.Coordinates with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and ancillary staff, to address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.Delegates tasks appropriately, promotes teamwork, and adjusts assignments based on patient acuity and needs.Participates in quality improvement initiatives, evidence-based practice, and safety programs to enhance patient outcomes.Engages in unit-based decision-making and supports organizational safety and safety protocols. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to changing patient needs.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous learning. Additional Duties: Provides direct patient care, participates in patient safety and quality initiatives, and adheres to organizational policies and procedures.
