In Person role on the Adult Mood Disorders Unit, a 19-bed unit treating adult patients with a variety of mood disorders under the expert care of experienced psychiatrists, nursing, and clinical staff.
Schedule
36 hours weekly, 7PM to 7AM with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of professional psychiatric nursing services, including assessing, planning, administering, and evaluating patient care in accordance with team treatment plans.
- Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
- Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and their families.
- Provide day-to-day clinical direction to assigned Mental Health Workers or other paraprofessional staff.
- Document and report patient progress to treatment team.
Requirements
- Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Maryland (or compact state) at time of appointment and continuously while in position.
- Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting preferred.
- All new clinical staff will begin extended clinical orientation/training immediately following the first day of employment.
- Candidates residing in a compact state may apply with a multistate license and must obtain a Maryland RN license within 60 days of relocation.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $37.08 minimum to $56.83 maximum, determined by years and level of related experience.
