Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to behavioral health patients in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Perform initial and ongoing bio‑psychosocial assessments according to accepted standards of nursing practice.
• Develop a nursing plan of care consistent with the master treatment plan.
• Participate in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals, objectives, and interventions appropriate to each patient’s age‑related and problem‑specific needs.
• Implement the nursing plan of care for assigned patients and conduct or co‑lead group therapy sessions.
• Evaluate patient response to interventions and revise the nursing plan of care as needed.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to revise goals, objectives, and interventions based on changes in patient status.

Requirements

• Current BLS Provider certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Registered Nurse credential from the Indiana Board of Nursing (must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer).
• Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.

Skills

• Previous psychiatric experience preferred.

Days | Full‑time | 7am to 7:30pm | Every third weekend, holiday rotation
