Registered Nurse - Admissions (Hospital Based) (PRN - as needed)

About the role

Hospice care providers are needed to support patients and families facing end-of-life situations. Responsibilities include providing compassionate care, managing patient needs, and coordinating services.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice care services to patients and their families
• Manage patient needs including medication administration, symptom management, and emotional support
• Care coordination with other healthcare professionals and family members
• Document patient care activities and communicate with interdisciplinary team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (nursing, social work, etc.)
• Current certification in hospice and palliative care
• Experience in healthcare or related field preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
