Registered Nurse - Acute Psychiatric Adult

About the Role

A competent nurse practicing independently in a clinical setting, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients.
• Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs in accordance with their practice level.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and available resources.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to care providers to support clinical management.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Schedule

Full-time role with scheduled hours from 7AM to 7PM.
