Registered Nurse - Acute Pediatric - Full-Time

About the Role

A registered nurse providing independent and comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting. The nurse assesses, diagnoses, plans, intervenes, and evaluates patient needs, addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social aspects. Delegates tasks appropriately to care team members to manage clinical situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care aligned with professional standards and organizational competencies.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers, identifying resources as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current RN license, BLS certification, and PALS certification required.
• Completion of organizational onboarding, competency validation, and annual requirements.
• Preferred experience in pediatric or perinatal care.
