Registered Nurse - Acute Care Surgical Stepdown - Days

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Stepdown to provide patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process. The role involves evaluating the effectiveness of care, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state of Missouri.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Prior hospital experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Specialty certifications in relevant areas.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Accountability and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.

Schedule

Full-time hours on day shifts.
