Registered Nurse - Acute Care, Surgical Stepdown

Role Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with organizational standards and values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure required
• Prior hospital experience preferred
• BLS certification required; additional certifications and BSN preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to perform various physical movements necessary for nursing duties
