Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care, specializing in Orthopedic Surgery, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practice.
  • Provide relationship-based, culturally sensitive care, partnering with patients and families to meet individual needs and goals.
  • Coordinate safe, quality care through effective interdisciplinary communication, documentation, and collaboration.
  • Promote professional development by mentoring, completing competency assessments, and supporting performance improvement initiatives.
  • Advance evidence-based practice, participate in research activities, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and safety standards.
  • Assist in developing protocols, optimizing resource use, and supporting patient care across the continuum.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Active RN license (single or multi-state compact).
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of RN experience, preferably in direct patient care.
