About the Role

The Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in collaboration with the care team. They act as a key communicator between patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring patient advocacy, satisfaction, and safety. The nurse participates in performance improvement initiatives, maintains professional competence, and supports shared governance through participation in councils and activities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate patient conditions, assisting with care plans and coordinating care delivery.
  • Deliver safe, effective care according to policies, documenting assessments, interventions, and incidents.
  • Respond to patient concerns, educate patients and families, and promote patient-centered care.
  • Contribute to quality improvement efforts and support organizational initiatives.
  • Maintain professional licenses, complete required training, and pursue ongoing professional development.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a positive work environment and upholding professional standards.
  • Adhere to safety, confidentiality, and ethical guidelines, promoting integrity and accountability.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Nursing degree preferred.
  • Current RN licensure (single state or multi-state compact).
  • Required certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and RN license upon hire.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to professional growth and quality patient care.
