Registered Nurse - Acute Care Neuro Medical

About the role

Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality, evidence-based practice. Works within a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes, prioritizing safety, wellness, and a patient-centered approach. Acts as a preceptor to new healthcare professionals and embraces ongoing learning to enhance clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care in specialty Med-Surg units with moderate to high patient acuity.
• Support clinical education and competency validation through mentorship and guidance.
• Contribute to maintaining safety and quality at the point of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved by the state board (if less than 3 years of experience).
• Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.

This is an onsite role with day and night rotation shifts.
