About the Role
Provide direct patient care in a specialty acute care Med Surg Oncology unit, utilizing top-of-scope nursing practices in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize patient safety and deliver evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support quality outcomes.
- Precept new staff and contribute to unit excellence.
- Deliver specialized care for patients with moderate to high acuity.
- Adhere to evidence-based models and support safety and quality at the point of care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN licensure.
- Minimum of 6 months RN experience.
- BLS certification.
- Chemotherapy/immunotherapy knowledge within one year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
Schedule
Night shift, onsite role with incentive programs for night shift staff.
