Registered Nurse - Acute Care Medical

About the role

Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care within a fast-paced, advanced acute care unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments and address patients' physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and coordinate individualized care plans, including education and discharge planning.
• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests according to policies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and modify care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate proactively with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and participate in evidence-based practice decision-making.
• Contribute to quality improvement, safety initiatives, and unit goals as a team member.

Qualifications

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing, with the ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care. Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and clinical skills are essential.
