Registered Nurse - Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry Unit

About the role

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) serving as a Clinical Team Coordinator, responsible for overseeing nursing care and activities on a designated unit.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise, and provide direct patient care, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective services.
• Assist with staff orientation, performance appraisals, scheduling, and addressing performance issues.
• Communicate patient care details, policies, and operational updates to staff and stakeholders.
• Support evidence-based practices, mentor staff, and promote a healthy work environment aligned with Magnet philosophies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, resource management, and resolution of patient and family concerns.
• Participate in policy development and unit improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in or graduation from a nursing degree program, with a preference for Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in cardiac care and leadership is preferred.
• Strong communication, supervisory, and organizational skills.
• Ability to foster a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Schedule

Scheduled hours from 7pm to 7:30am, including every other weekend and holiday.
