Registered Nurse - Acute Care

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. They operate within a clinical environment guided by Nurse Managers, the WellStar Professional Practice Model, and evidence-based practices, ensuring adherence to nursing standards and the Georgia Professional Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care supporting patient, family, and system needs.
• Uphold patient voices, policies, and service excellence goals.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Follow ethical standards and scope of practice outlined by nursing regulations.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Georgia or under eNLC practice privilege.
• Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience in direct patient care; specialty certification is a plus.
