Registered Nurse - Acute Care

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, safe patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team in a clinical setting supported by Nurse Managers and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individualized care for patients, families, and significant others.
• Practice within the framework of the WellStar Professional Practice Model, 5-Star Nursing, and evidence-based standards.
• Uphold nursing standards per the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
• Support service excellence and adhere to system policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Georgia or under the eNLC.
• Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with direct patient care; specialty certification preferred.

• Proficient in technology use, critical thinking, and time management.
• Ability to respond effectively in fast-paced and emergency situations.
