Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans. Utilizing evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions, they coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Assess: Conduct thorough evaluations of physical, social, psychological, cognitive, and developmental status, collaborating with the healthcare team.Plan: Develop individualized care plans with patient, family, and team input, including education and follow-up preparations.Implement: Direct and delegate care activities, prioritize tasks, and manage resources effectively within professional guidelines.Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, achieve goals, and modify care plans as necessary for improved outcomes.Professionalism: Uphold legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, ensure accurate documentation, and promote professional growth. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license with valid compact license transfer if applicableBSN required within four years if less than 12 months of experienceBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationStrong skills in patient care, interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, communication, and critical thinking Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively; manual dexterity; ability to lift, transfer, and transport patients and supplies; and, if applicable, operate a vehicle.
