Registered Nurse - 3rd Floor Tower Cardiac - Full Time - Night Shift

About the role

The 3rd Floor Tower Cardiac unit is a 36-bed Med-Surg Cardiac unit specializing in vascular surgery post-op care. Typical patient populations include post heart surgery patients, post op thoracic surgery patients, and other vascular surgery patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of patients experiencing medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and keep records.
• Provide patients and families with support and education.
• Maintain a wide array of medical care knowledge to care for a diverse group of patients.

Requirements

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Previous nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri.
• Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
