Under the direction of the unit manager, this role provides direct clinical patient care. The role assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct age-appropriate clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis and at the unit level. Additionally, the role supervises staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and is accountable for supporting the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and effective resource management related to patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical patient care under the direction of the unit manager.
  • Assess, plan, and implement age-appropriate clinical care for assigned patients.
  • Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care delegation.
  • Support the CNO in maintaining high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.
  • Ensure competency of clinical staff and manage resources effectively.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse License (Essential)
  • Less than one year of experience (Essential)

Pay

  • Pay Range: $37.15 to $57.58 per hour, based on experience.
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus.
