About the role
Villa Feliciana Medical Complex (VFMC), located in East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Wound Care Unit. We offer compassionate, high-quality care to patients with chronic diseases, disabilities, terminal illnesses, and infectious conditions like HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis. Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to patients requiring skilled procedures and techniques on the hospital unit.
- Perform professional nurse duties, including administering blood and blood components, IV medications, parenteral nutrition, central line therapy, etc.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Conduct chart reviews, update monthly present orders, and MARs as assigned.
- Complete Quality Assurance reports as required.
- Perform other related duties to ensure the smooth operation of the Nursing Service Department and Villa Feliciana Medical Complex.
Requirements
- Possession of a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or a temporary permit or multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state.

Pay
The Registered Nurse 1, 2, or 3 offers a Special Entrance Rate of $29.84 hourly, along with Longevity Pay, Work Incentive Pay, and Certification Pay (ACLS, ANA, etc.). The salary can be higher based on experience.
Schedule
8-hour shifts Monday-Friday.
