Registered Dietitian (RD)

About the role

We are seeking a Dietary Supervisor to oversee the operation of the Dietary Department, ensuring residents' nutritional needs are met in compliance with policies, regulations, and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise dietary staff and operations
• Manage food procurement and departmental budgets
• Develop menus aligned with care plans and regulations
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary care meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Monitor meal quality and presentation
• Ensure special dietary requirements are fulfilled

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
• Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 90 days

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Prior supervisory or leadership roles
• Knowledge of federal and state dietary regulations
• Familiarity with MDS and care planning processes

Skills

• Strong leadership and team management
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
• Computer proficiency for documentation and reporting
