Registered Dietitian RD
About the role
DaVita provides a full comprehensive renal dietitian training program with ongoing support by the preceptor and local renal RD's. DaVita supports teammate growth with multiple dietitian specific opportunities including training in motivational interviewing counseling.
Responsibilities
- Analyze lab-work results and educate patients-and their families-on what to eat accordingly.
- Influence and lead to help patients live better lives.
Requirements
- State licensure required if licensure is available in the state where the facility is located.
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or similar area required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, possibly for multiple facilities and travel when needed.
- After hire and training, successful completion of the Competency Assessment for Renal Dietitians (CARD) with a score of at least 80% required.
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required as well as functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days.

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
