Registered Dietitian - Clinical - Part-time

About the role

The Registered Dietitian will ensure all functions of the Dietary Department, both administrative and clinical duties, are carried out accurately and appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional assessments and develop meal plans for residents
• Monitor and evaluate resident nutritional status
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to address nutritional needs
• Conduct training sessions on nutrition topics for staff and residents
• Document and report on dietary intake and nutritional status

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian certification
• Experience preferably in a health care setting
• At least one year of relevant experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Sincere interest in geriatric nutrition and enjoyment of working with geriatric residents

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field
• License/Certification: Current Registered Dietitian license

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
