Registered Dietitian

About the Role

TriStar Horizon Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an experienced and competent Registered Dietitian to join our Food & Nutrition team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment, intervention implementation, and monitoring/evaluation of patients through the Nutrition Care Process, while providing excellent customer service to all patients and employees.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served by your discipline.
• Assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to age-specific needs, applying principles of growth and development over the life span.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate care in coordination with the healthcare team across the continuum.
• Provide quality food for all customers in a sanitary work environment.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RD/RDN) credential.
• State Registered Dietitian (RD-STATE) license must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
