Registered Dietitian

About the Role

Nutrition that Works, LLC is seeking a consultant dietitian to serve our long-term care community in Torrance, CA. This part-time position offers 24 hours per week with a flexible schedule and excellent pay.

Responsibilities

• Complete clinical nutrition assessments
• Document using the Nutrition Care Process in the EMR system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care plan team
• Complete the MDS - Section K
• Calculate tube feedings (TF)
• Make recommendations for wounds and significant weight changes

Requirements

• Credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Dietetic licensure
• Long-term care (LTC) experience preferred
• Positive, client-centered attitude
• Good communication skills
