Registered Dietitian

Position Summary

The Foremost at Sharon is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assess nutritional needs, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal resident health and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional status of residents upon admission and as needed.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations related to nutrition and dietary services.
• Collaborate with the food service department to ensure menus meet resident needs and preferences.
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress in medical records.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) in the state of Massachusetts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, especially in a long-term care/rehab setting.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
