Responsibilities

• Provides medical nutrition therapy to patients with eating disorders by assessing nutritional status, establishing a meal plan necessary to improve nutritional status, and evaluating patient's response to the plan.
• Provides individualized nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or families to establish and achieve nutritional goals.
• Completes documentation of interventions, individual and family sessions, and meal plans.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate treatment plans. Attends team meetings and team rounds to serve as the nutrition expert resource.
• Facilitates experiential groups, which may include restaurant outings, food preparation and cooking groups (as applicable), as well as assists in providing meal and snack support and supervision.

Requirements

Clinical Dietitian I Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree (Required), Graduate degree (Preferred).
• A valid US driver license (Required).
• Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Certification/Registration required in all states that offer it. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred (Required).
• Current state dietitian/nutritionist license, as required by state law (Required).
• 0-2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (Required).

Clinical Dietitian II Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree (Required), Graduate degree (Preferred).
• A valid US driver license (Required).
• Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Certification/Registration required in all states that offer it. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred (Required).
• Current state dietitian/nutritionist license, as required by state law (Required).
• 2 or more years of experience as an RD, with a minimum of 2 years working with eating disorders. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) (Required).

Sr. Clinical Dietitian III Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree (Required), Graduate degree in nutrition, dietetics or related field (Preferred).
• A valid US driver license (Required).
• Current RD/RDN credential with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Certification/Registration required in all states that offer it. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred (Required).
• Current state dietitian/nutritionist license, as required by state law (Required).
• 5 or more years of experience as an RD working with eating disorders. National certification, Registered Dietitian (RD) (Required).
• CEDRD, CDE, CSSD, or CNSC (Preferred).

Pay

Maryland Pay Range $65,000 - $100,000 USD. The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.
