About the role
Supports the nutritional care of our residents through nutritional assessments and collaborative work with the care provider team.
Responsibilities
- Completes nutritional assessments and initiates interventions to achieve and maintain residents' nutritional status.
- Participates in the development and implementation of meal plans, adhering to licensing guidelines and menu management software.
- Provides education to patients, residents, staff, and the public regarding nutrition and healthy eating practices.
- Acts as a resource to the department and the broader community, offering expertise and support.
Qualifications
- Licensed per state requirements, in good standing.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited nutrition or dietetic program, and current registration in the American Dietetic Association or registry eligible.
- Maintains continuing education credits as mandated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Service-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Functions as a team member.
