Registered Dietitian
Job Responsibilities
- Plans menus in accordance with Aramark guidelines.
- Visits school cafes on a regular basis.
- Safeguards the maintenance of recipe development, menu production, and foodservice management standards.
- Supports nutrient analysis for all food items served.
- Edifies clients and consumers on healthy food choices through school training and community outreach.
- Aides in new employee training.
- Collaborates with management and supervisors to ensure high-quality food services.
Qualifications
- Previous relevant working experience preferred.
- Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with coursework accredited or approved by the appropriate nutrition and dietetics agencies.
- Earn and maintain applicable certifications, registrations, licenses, credentials, and continue education requirements by the appropriate accredited local agencies.
- Formal eligibility to practice dietetics in the geographic location where applicable.
- Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
- Maintains a contagious and positive work ethic and inspires others.
About the Role
The Registered Dietitian I contributes to a nutritionally balanced and cost-effective food services program that meets the needs of students while adhering to all local guidelines related to nutrition regulations. They utilize technical training and government-mandated nutritional standards to develop healthy menu implementation plans and collaborate with Food & Beverage Development and management teams.
