Registered Dietician (RD)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-time Registered Dietician (RD) to join our talented team at AdviniaCare Newton-Wellesley, located in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments and documentation according to state and federal regulations
• Provide nutritional expertise and food service oversight to facility kitchen operations
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized nutrition plans
• Evaluate meal quality, dining programs, and texture modified diet preparation
• Ensure compliance with dietary regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient/resident nutrition care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and projects

Requirements

• Must be a registered dietitian credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Must maintain current licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Long Term Care experience preferred
• ServSafe or other similar national food safety certification preferred
• Maintain all appropriate registrations, licensure, continuing education credits, or other such requirements in good standing as needed to maintain employment
• Sufficient knowledge of food production and distribution, to evaluate meal quality, dining programs, and texture modified diet preparation
• Able to multitask and prioritize when needed, be comfortable working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience with electronic charting (PCC preferred)
