Cameron Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our interdisciplinary team at our skilled nursing facility. If you're passionate about improving the health and quality of life of older adults through exceptional nutritional care, we'd love to meet you. As our Registered Dietitian, you'll play a vital role in assessing residents' nutritional needs, developing individualized care plans, collaborating with physicians and nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments for new admissions and as required by regulations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Conduct resident interviews to obtain food preferences and complete Resident Food Profiles.
• Update resident food preferences in the dietary management/tray card system.
• Monitor residents for changes in nutritional status, weight, skin integrity, hydration, and swallowing concerns.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, speech therapy, and other interdisciplinary team members to optimize resident outcomes.
• Recommend therapeutic diets and nutrition interventions based on physician orders and clinical needs.
• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.
• Participate in care plan meetings and quality assurance/performance improvement initiatives.
