Registered Dental Hygienist- Part time

Responsibilities

• Professionally clean teeth including prophies and scaling and root planing
• Presents instructions on proper personal oral hygiene
• Captures digital radiographs
• Administers topical fluoride
• Disinfects surfaces and dental equipment
• Sterilizes dental instruments according to OSHA regulations
• Takes thorough inventory of instruments through daily counts and logs
• Serve as Dental Assistant when needed
• Proper record keeping and maintenance both in manual and automated systems
• Ensure dental supplies are on hand and ordered in a timely manner
• Answer sick call requests and schedules patients in a timely manner

Requirements

• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an approved hygiene training program
• Licensed to practice dental hygiene by the Texas Board of Dental Examiners

Pay

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Part-time schedule- 20 Hours/Week. Work 2 days, Monday- Friday
