Registered Dental Hygienist (Part-Time)

Summary Of Essential Job Functions

• Prepare patients for treatment by welcoming, seating, draping, and soothing patients
• Record observations about the child’s dental health, including notes on any infections or other problems that may require attention
• Examine gums to assess levels of periodontal disease
• Maintain instrumentation by sterilizing and sharpening instruments
• Apply fluorides and other dental decay prevention agents
• Provide quality patient care and education regarding tooth and gum care
