Registered Dental Hygienist
Arizona Smile Design is a modern, highly rated, family-focused dental practice in Sun City West, AZ (serving Sun City West, Surprise, Peoria, and surrounding Northwest Valley communities). We provide comprehensive dental care—from advanced preventive and cosmetic dentistry to specialized TMJ therapy, dental implants, and full-mouth rehabilitation—using advanced digital imaging and diagnostic tools in a friendly, high-energy, and fast-paced environment.
About the role
We are looking for an energetic, patient-oriented, and collaborative Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our tight-knit team. In this role, you will serve as a vital clinical partner, working closely with our doctors to co-diagnose, build mutually supportive schedules, and educate patients on comprehensive treatment paths that support both overall health and aesthetics.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-tier, gentle preventive and periodontal care in line with our comfort-focused, anxiety-free philosophy, including supporting patients who benefit from sedation options.
- Partner with the doctor during examinations to co-diagnose, identify restorative and cosmetic treatment opportunities, and educate patients on their comprehensive care plans.
- Thoroughly explain oral health findings using modern digital imaging technology to help patients understand clinical recommendations.
- Actively participate in managing and building productive schedules to keep our fast-paced office running efficiently.
Requirements
- Active Arizona Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License (Required)
- 3+ years of clinical experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)
- Local Anesthesia Certification (Required)
- Laser Certification (Required)
- Current CPR Certification (Required)
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with an eagerness to collaborate on treatment planning
- Excellent verbal communication skills to build trust with nervous patients and collaborate effectively with the clinical team
- Ability to thrive in a friendly, high-energy, and fast-paced environment
Pay
$50.00 – $60.00 per hour, plus a Monthly Team Performance Bonus and Monthly Hygiene Bonus.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday from 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM and Fridays from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (with extended Friday hours coming soon).
