Job Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for exams, completing digital charting and verifying codes with precision.
- Capture quality x-ray images.
- Aid the dentist with a variety of treatment procedures.
- Set up and sterilize exam and treatment rooms.
- Discuss treatment options, their importance, and recommended follow-up care.
- Provide teeth polishing and sealant placement procedures (with required certifications).
- Schedule patient treatment appointments as requested.
- Sterilize instruments and adhere to cross-contamination standards.
- Create positive and uplifting patient environments by engaging with patients before, during, and after visits.
- Guide parents and patients through post-care instructions.
- Assist patients with company-provided prizes and dismissals.
- Understand and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing.
- Sealant Placement, Nitrous Monitoring, and Coronal Polishing Certifications preferred (if 2+ years of experience, company provides courses).
- Digital x-ray and Digital Charting Experience.
