Registered Dental Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Aiding dental treatments under supervision
• Taking dental x-rays and reviewing patient history
• Informing patients about oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Accurately documenting patient records
• Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing equipment
• Fabricating temporary crowns and bridges
• Managing dental supply inventory
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team
• Complying with safety standards and practice guidelines
• Utilizing dental and scheduling software

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Dental Assistant license
• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience
• Certification from an accredited dental assisting program
• Dental X-Ray and Coronal Polishing Certifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations
• Bilingual skills in Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese are a plus
