Registered Dental Assistant - Arkansas Oral Surgery

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly and calmly with parents and patients regarding treatment needs.
• Recognize and identify prior authorization requirements and ensure signed consent forms.
• Maintain awareness of patient comfort and safety needs.
• Perform clinical and technical procedures under the direct supervision of a licensed dentist.
• Prepare patient operatory and equipment.
• Aid the doctor during examinations and treatments.
• Provide clear and concise documentation of all treatments using electronic and paper records.
• Perform general housekeeping and restocking tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant.
• CPR required.
• Trained by an Accredited Dental Assistant School.
• One to two years of Dental Assisting experience preferred.
