About the role

We are seeking a CT Technologist who can provide computed tomographic radiographs to patients in accordance with physicians' orders. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT exams and explain the procedure.
• Maintain technical quality of CT images.
• Promote individual professional growth and development through mandatory/continuing education.
• Possess knowledge of medical terminology necessary for working in the Imaging Department.
• Serve as a mentor and resource to less experienced staff/students.
• Work collaboratively as part of the Imaging Department team.

Requirements

• A degree in Radiologic Technology (Associate, Diploma, or BSRT).
• Texas Department of Health licensure as an MRT.
• Current registration with ARRT.
• Advanced certification in CT within 6 months of employment.
• Previous experience in CT in a clinic or hospital setting preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSRT in Radiologic Technology.
• Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT.
• Current registration with ARRT.
• Advanced certification in CT within 6 months of employment.
• Previous experience in CT in a clinic or hospital setting preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
