About the role
We are seeking a CT Technologist who can provide computed tomographic radiographs to patients in accordance with physicians' orders. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and continuous professional development.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT exams and explain the procedure.
- Maintain technical quality of CT images.
- Promote individual professional growth and development through mandatory/continuing education.
- Possess knowledge of medical terminology necessary for working in the Imaging Department.
- Serve as a mentor and resource to less experienced staff/students.
- Work collaboratively as part of the Imaging Department team.
Requirements
- A degree in Radiologic Technology (Associate, Diploma, or BSRT).
- Texas Department of Health licensure as an MRT.
- Current registration with ARRT.
- Advanced certification in CT within 6 months of employment.
- Previous experience in CT in a clinic or hospital setting preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSRT in Radiologic Technology.
- Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT.
- Current registration with ARRT.
- Advanced certification in CT within 6 months of employment.
- Previous experience in CT in a clinic or hospital setting preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
