About the role
The Registered Clinical Dietitian is responsible for planning regular and modified diets for all ages of patients as prescribed by Medical Staff.
Responsibilities
- Routinely visiting patients
- Counseling patients with nutritional needs
- Participating in hospital, patient, and community education and outpatient programs
- Assisting with the maintenance of the department's Quality Assessment & Quality Improvement plan
Qualifications
Education and Training
- Registered with Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed by the State in which the facility resides to practice Dietetics
Experience
- 3 years' experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Rehabilitation experience a plus
