Role Overview: The Registered Charge Nurse in acute care oversees daily unit operations, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate clinical activities, including patient assessments, care planning, and evaluations based on evidence-based standards.Perform patient rounds to monitor care quality, address safety concerns, and promote patient-centered, relationship-based care.Foster effective interdisciplinary communication, collaboration, and teamwork to optimize patient outcomes and resource use.Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote evidence-based practice.Serve as a preceptor or mentor to develop staff and ensure a competent, professional workforce.Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.Manage staffing, equipment, and resource needs, and support a respectful, inclusive work environment. Qualifications & Skills: Valid nursing license, clinical expertise, strong communication, leadership, teamwork, and knowledge of safety and quality standards are essential.
